But as The Only Way Is Essex returned to screens for its eighth series, Jessica Wright's relationship appears to be one of the strongest unions on the show.

Wearing a sparkler on her ring finger as her mother and grandmother watch on, Jessica appears to be outlining what she wants her diamond to look like.
Although Ricky, 22, hasn't hinted at a possible proposal, it would appear some recent activity in their union has spurred Jessica into believing he'll be popping the question soon.
Ricky and Jessica first hooked up in series six of the reality television show and having worked through their initial problems they've gone from strength to strength.

And from the looks of the stills during their heart-to-heart, Sam, 22, becomes teary-eyed as Chloe expresses her concerns regarding the young couple's relationship.
Worried that the pair are moving too fast with plans to buy a house, Sims, 30, told her bestfriend Lauren Pope during last Sunday's episode that she was keen to clear air with Faiers.

Mario Falcone, 25, made a surprise return to TOWIE in Sunday's installment where he told Joey that he had unfinished business.
As tying up his loose ends following the rumours that he'd cheated on girlfriend Lucy Mecklenburgh, 21, Mario will have it out with his pal Little Chris, 25.
Meeting up for a drink, the boys will perhaps try to salvage what is left of their friendship.
