Sheer daring: Audrey Tautou doesn't bother with a bra in full length lace dress at premiere

Audrey Tautou has mainly stayed out of the limelight since breaking into Hollywood in the 2001 blockbuster Amélie.
But one to way to definitely get noticed is to turn up to a premiere sans bra - something the 36-year-old does incredibly well.
Brunette Audrey looked dazzling in a sheer topped black dress which just about preserved her dignity at the New York premiere of Populaire at the Paris Theater on the opening night of Rendez Vous with French Cinema in Manhattan.

Despite not starring in the film Audrey made sure she stood out in the unusual sheer embroidered number, which she teamed with a clutch bag and left her trademark brunette bob tousled.
She recently spoke of exploring her dark side to play a killer wife in upcoming movie Therese Desqueyroux.
Tautou explained: 'It didn't exactly free me, but it did make me want to explore cinema even more.

'I really liked the experience. I had to try to not be scared of Therese. I want to go to the darker side of humanity.'
Fans of the French actress, who despite starring in the Da Vinci Code has shunned the Hollywood limelight, will be on the red carpet on Friday evening for the premiere of her film Therese Desqueyroux.
Adapted from the 1920s novel by François Mauriac, the film is set in southwestern France where a wealthy Catholic family clings tightly to their prominent role as landowners.

According to critics the movie asks stirring questions about an individual's role in society, duty to one's family, and the existence of God, to name just a few.
